Berbs joined Spurs in the summer of 2006, and despite a good scoring record both in his native Bulgaria and in Germany, was something of an unknown quantity on these shores.
The talented forward started his career with CSKA Sofia, and scored 25 times in 50 appearances for them before winning a 2001 move to Bayer Leverkusen. He was a hit in Germany also, bagging 68 goals in 152 games before winning his move to Spurs.
It was only a few months before he would return to The BayArena with Spurs in a Uefa Cup tie and typically he netted the only goal as Spurs marched on. Substituted late on, the German fans to a man rose to give him a standing ovation - a sign of his popularity in those parts.

A player who still splits the Spurs support, Jenas is an all action player who likes to get forward and chip in with goals and assists. Capped by England, he was recalled to the national side under Fabio Capello after he was frozen out by Steve McLaren.

Keane joined Spurs in August 2002, shortly after starring for the Republic of Ireland in the World Cup in Japan and South Korea.
Having just turned 22 at the time, Keano had already had four clubs - Wolves, Coventry, Inter and Leeds United. Many had doubts about his ability to settle but White Hart Lane has proved a real home Keane. Now proudly boasting more than 100 goals for The Lily Whites, Keane is often team captain in the absence of Ledley King.
